Speedster Magazine is a sportscar magazine I designed for student assignment at Cal State San Bernardino. The project was to display an understanding of editorial design, it shows an understanding of composition and layout as well as typography.
Editorial Layout
Speedster Magazine targets an audience that is comprised of automative enthusiasts. This audience is heavily invested in the performance, collecting and the designs of sports cars.
When it came to the editorials interior, I used the cars side view as the main focal point spanning two pages. The problem was to design typography around the page image. To solve the issue I decided to wrap the text around the car for an interactive and rhythmic feel.
